I join in wondering what Christmas decorations are in Akihabara.

Xmas is mainly a commercial event here, so there are lots of events in shopping malls and some restaurants.

My favourite event is "Happy Star", where about a hundred people dress and santa and distribute presents to small children. These are volunteers. and the tips they receive from parents go to activities like building schools in remote areas in Africa and South Asia. I was a Santa in this event when it started.

Some people decorate and illuminate houses, so it is nice to walk around neighbourhoods with single houses.
