Is Japan making it difficult to import American cars?

Donald Trump has said that Japan is making it difficult for US automakers to sell their products in Japan.

It is true that there are few American cars here. In fact, there are many more European cars than American cars.

In my opinion, it is the small roads that make American cars difficult to drive here. There are some young people (called Yankees) who enjoy driving large vehicles while blaring stereo music, but they grow up.

Are their other barriers to importing US cars here?
