Pollen (Hay fever) Season

posted by  Yubi | 7 years, 3 months ago in Lifestyle

With spring round the corner, people are gearing up for the pollen allergy season. Man-made pine forests emanate huge amounts of pollen, making those with allergies suffer a lot.

Any ideas or hints for surviving this season?

From last year, they have started a new type of treatment for pollen allergy. 6 months prior to the season, you have to start treatment. The doctor will place some allergens below your tongue on a few days. This allows the body to get used to the allergens and 6 months later the body won't react to them anymore. This is the best treatment I know, because it will actually cure the allergy.

I know this is random, but I read about raw honey helping a lot with these kinds of allergies. I actually use it in my tea. The idea is to get honey from your native land though. I ma not sure how popular raw honey is around the world but most people praise it for helping "cure" allergies.
