Edano looks to rally opposition

Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan leader Yukio Edano expressed his desire to rally opposition parties in the wake of Sunday’s House of Representatives election, which saw his party become the dominant opposition party.

“We can work together with those who can cooperate with our ideals and policies,” Edano said late Sunday night at a press conference.

I have seen how Edano worked day and night attending to problems after the 2011 earthquake, leading to the Twitter campaign "Edano get some sleep". He brings some hope to the salarymen voters who are neglected by the LDP and the ruling coalition.
