Nintendo Switch Now Has a Virtual Console… Sort Of www.geek.com

Nintendo has officially announced that Super Nintendo games are coming to Nintendo Switch for no extra charge in the Switch online subscription.
With the Nintendo Switch Online service up and running for two months now, this article’s somewhat misleading headline of “Nintendo Switch Now Has a Virtual Console” has never been closer to being actually true.
But Virtual Console name or not, Nintendo NEEDS to let Switch owners play as many classic Nintendo games as possible on the console/handheld hybrid as soon as possible.
But this is just the latest tease for a Switch Virtual Console from Nintendo.
We’re still waiting on the Nintendo Switch to receive its Virtual Console and get one step closer to the be-all, end-all Nintendo device it’s destined to be.
