KYODO NEWS - 4 hours ago - 17:54 | All, JapanThe producer of the Evangelion anime series has said a man recently arrested over teen porn allegations was not involved in the creation of past smash hits of the series.
"The suspect was not involved in any Evangelion works, including the "Neon Genesis Evangelion" titles, and our company has nothing to do with him," khara Inc. said in a statement.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is the masterpiece of anime giant Hideaki Anno, who formerly worked for Gainax and is now CEO of khara.
Gainax was behind the Neon Genesis Evangelion series in the 1990s.
