Most of them sell drinks, but you can find vending machines that sell a variety of things, from fresh eggs to news papers. While the linked article says that the Wi-Fi capable vending machines are "coming soon", they are already available in Tokyo and suburbs. So, if you want a free Wi-Fi, you can now look for a vending machine!

This would be awesome to have all over town. They would definitely make things easier.

Now this is the kind of tech I love seeing! Something that is not only creative but has a lot of benefits to it. We need more vending machines in the states!

We are seeing more and more of them now, I hope all vending machines will have that in a few years.
