May is also the month for International Festivals. You might want to check these festivals:
1. Thai festival at Yoyogi Park (sometimes Hibiya park)
2. Africa Festa at Hibiya Park
3. Bangladesh Festival in Ikebukuro.
There are a few others, too, that might not be held every year. Do check event schedules online so that you don't miss these events.
