In my opinion this is a sad example of how technology does quite the opposite from improving people's lives. It might be fun to imagine yourself dating a virtual character, but in the long run it is quite a dangerous thing - the more time you spend glued to your phone's screen, the less chance you have meeting a real person who could become your actual partner and make your life happier.
