Japanese Pension Fund

posted by  Yubi | 7 years, 2 months ago in Lifestyle

When working in Japan, it is mandatory for an employee to make payments to Japan Pension Fund.

If you are leaving Japan for good, you can take back what you paid, but there is an upper limit. Let's make this post a discussion about how to get the best out of your pension fund savings, since many will find it useful.

I will have to read up on this. I know someone was telling me that you have to acquire a minimum when working in Japan that goes to the Pension Fund but when you hit that number, you can take your money out when you leave. It is kind of like taxes in the US but not as sketchy.
