Mitsubishi Electric sued over employee's suicide www3.nhk.or.jp

The parents of an employee of Mitsubishi Electric who committed suicide have filed a damages lawsuit against the company with the Tokyo District Court.

The 25-year-old man committed suicide last November, after starting work in April.

His parents argued that their son had been given the task of developing software even though he didn't know much about programming. They added that as a result he was criticized, bullied and harassed by his bosses and colleagues. His parents said he developed a mental disorder that led to his suicide.
