Major travel agency H.I.S. Co. on Wednesday celebrated the opening of its second robot-staffed Henn na Hotel. The new location is near the Tokyo Disney Resort in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture.
The name is a play on a Japanese word meaning strange.
I just saw this new on the Tokyo subway's news monitors. It will be fun to have the robots do the boring stuff but it will also be nice to have some human staff, especially with the hospitality that is offered in most big and small hotels. comment
I agree! It is such a creative and fun way to delight locals and attract tourists as well. I don't mind seeing robots handle the little things, specially when they are dinosaurs. I know my nephew will want to see these! comment
