Japanese park gets Moomin author's name www3.nhk.or.jp

A Japanese city has added to a municipal park the name of the Finnish author of the popular Moomin children's book series.

The park in Hanno City, north of Tokyo, is now called the Tove Jansson Akebono Children's Forest Park.

The city purchased the right to use the author's name from its copyright holders for about 18,000 dollars per 4 years of usage.
