Monorail services linking Tokyo's Haneda Airport and the city's downtown area were temporarily suspended on Tuesday afternoon.

The line's operator, Tokyo Monorail, says a 6-car train suddenly stopped on a 5-meter-high track above a river. All monorail operations were suspended for 2 and a half hours, affecting about 16,000 people.
