The first Japanese to play in Germany's top division soccer has been named a "legend" for leaving an indelible mark on the league.

Yasuhiko Okudera is also the first Japanese to join the "Bundesliga Legends Network." The members of the network operate as global brand ambassadors for the Bundesliga.
