Japanese food is really good. And it is fascinating how much more varied it is than we imagine in the West. Here in France Japanese food doesn't really do beyond sushi and sashimi + rice + miso soup. But if you go to Japan you will see that there is much more to Japanese cuisine than that :) that is why it is very difficult for me to find a favorite dish. As for the least favorite, that would probably be _ natto _. In about 10 years that I have been married to a Japanese I haven't made myself try it. I have been to Japan but even there I couldn't overcome the smell. So maybe it is really good actually I just don't know. The smell is so awful that I never tried it :)
