Foreigners and locals alike have started getting on the juice tonight before entering the alcohol-free zone in Shibuya.
In fact, people will only have to travel around 200 meters from Shibuya Station to purchase alcohol at konbinis before slipping back into the alcohol-free zone.
Although 200 meters is a ridiculous distance for locals to travel without catching public transport, for foreigners it’s a “piece of piss”.
Atsugiri Jason, a spokesperson for gaijin in Japan, has created a map highlighting the closest four convenience stores to the alcohol-free zone.
“You can drink outside one of these four 7-Elevens before walking straight back into the alcohol-free zone,” says Jason.
