Masses of strong zero cans are set to be demolished at Harajuku Station next year with a flood of foreign tourists visiting Tokyo for the 2020 Olympic Games.
“Thousands of strong zeros will be totally destroyed,” said one Harajuku district official.
Many of the demolished strong zeros will be reconstructed in various forms “the morning after”.
“The reconstruction will take place on sidewalks, dark alleys, and if we’re lucky, inside porcelain bowls.”
