Traditionally, hard-core anime fans haven’t had a reputation for stellar hygiene, particularly in the body odor category.
So it’s not without olfactory concern that Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel spring song is set to open this coming spring.
Hoping to counterbalance this is men’s fragrance company Axe, which is partnering with Fate for a special promotional tie-up.
First off are a series of new illustrations with spokesmodels Rin Tosaka, Sakura Mato, Illyasviel von Einzbern, and “Sexiness please” Gilgamesh, all posing with various Axe products.
Remember, though, that Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel spring song isn’t coming out until a few months after the campaign ends, and so you’ll need to bathe/apply deodorant again before heading to the theater.
