It was back in 2018 when Beams first announced a series of haute couture items with bag and storage maker Ziplock, which at the time seemed more like a gimmick more than anything else.
But the brand is doubling down on the intriguing collaboration with a Tokyo pop-up shop, as well as new items and accessories hitting stores across Japan.
The new Ziplock-themed pop-up features Ziplock containers stacked, as if they were glass blocks, forming display cases and shelving.
The pop-up was designed by Masafumi Harigaya Architects with art direction by Keisuke Kanda.
You can visit the Ziplock amusement park at Beams Japan in Shinjuku now through March 4, 2020.
