$1500 Japanese Apartment Tour in Tokyo Shibuya

posted by  banzaitokyo | 5 years, 5 months ago

I take you inside my Shibuya apartment and show you where I have been living in Tokyo for many years now. The average apartment in Tokyo is not very big. My Japanese apartment is 35 square meters and it costs about $1500 when I first moved in but it is closer to $1600 now. It was fine when I first moved in, but with Maiko moving in and now a baby on the way, it will be too cramped for all 3 of us. This is how life is for many people in Tokyo as space is limited in a big city like Tokyo. If you are thinking of moving to Japan or even moving to Tokyo, living in one of the busiest areas like Shibuya, this is likely what you would get for this monthly rent. I hope you enjoy this Japanese house tour and me sharing a little bit of how my life is in Japan. This has been one of my living costs in Japan for some time, but we look for a larger place to start our family in Japan, monthly rent will probably increase as we try to find more space while staying inside of the city. If you want to see more of my family's daily life and journey check out my Tokyo Zebra channel. You'll see more of what it is like to move in Tokyo and live in Japan.
