Yanesen area vol.1: Nezu shrine

Yanaka (???, ??), Nezu (??, ??), Sendagi (????, ???) area, called Yanesen (????, ???) is very good at walking around. Yanesen is a coined acronym consisting of the initial Kanji of this 3 areas' names. The area still has historical townscape and 60 temple/shrines.

Located closely to Ueno and Akihabara, this is worth a visit if you want to see a traditional Japanese shrine within Tokyo. Not as big as Meiji shrine, but the landscaping resembles a shrine in Kyoto.

This area is gorgeous. Those red gates appear in various pop culture events such as films and series set in Japan. The Inari shrine also has those red gates.
