Do you know that Dinosaurs lived in Japan, and you can see the fossils where they were found?

The Dinosaur Valley Fukui Katsuyama Geopark (Recognized as a geopark October 2009) is a geopark that encompasses the entire area of Katsuyama City in Fukui Prefecture. Starting in 1989, in Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture's Dinosaur Fossil Excavation Survey Project has produced many dinosaur fossils of great scientific value.

Fukui is not known for many things to see, but if you are from South East Asia and also are a Jurassic fan, this is a good place to visit.

I'm not a big fan of the Jurassic but I would definitely consider visiting this.

I think almost any corner of Japan is worth visiting as you find something curious and worthwhile in every tiny village :)
