Suikawari

Suika-wari, watermelon crushing, is a national favorite seasonal game in summer. There even exits the Japan Suika-Wari Association (JSWA), and they state official rules for Suikawari! Forget about the official rules, it is very simple to enjoy it.

This looks fun but I'd much rather eat the watermelons than destroy them haha Like Totoro said it must be fun to do, but not excessively.

They do, just that some parts might be too small or crushed. But it sure is fun!

I personally find this a bit wasteful, since suika is expensive and cutting it is a better way to eat it. But it's fun to do once :o)
