Anything similar to Kanji Museum, in Tokyo?

The Kanji Museum of Kyoto seems a great place to go. Is there any similar museum is Tokyo or Eastern Japan?

It is surprising that it is a new museum. Considering how big a role kanji play in Japanese language, culture and visual arts I would expect a similat museums to be in every major city!

Right, there are museums showing the writing of some artists etc., but this is the first kanji museum. This one was opened by Kanken, the association that organises the National Kanji Tests.
