Is it the end of "tsuyu" (rainy season) today?

Someone said that today is the official end of tsuyu (rainy season) in Tokyo. If that is true, is the change is really noticeable? What's coming next - sunny days? ;)

This will usually mean that we are unlikely to have 3-day slots of rainy and cloudy days until end of summer. There will still be rainy if a typhoon comes, but that is usually one day.

It is going to be generally sunny, but also very humid :o(.

With the water levels in the dams going low, people will start worrying this year. But otherwise, this is the time the rice fields start needing less water as the seeds start to form.
