What are good non-alcoholic drinks to try when in Japan?

My favorite is Ramune (Lemonade), in its classic glass bottle.

Ama-sake (sweet sake with no alcohol) is good in cold seasons.

well, there are a lot of "tea" to try too, obviously. Hot or cold, green ones, chinese ones, and even ones from roasted barley, buckwheat or others cereals.

Ramune is my favorite as well! I often buy a bottle with a pretext that it is for my son, but in reality I just want to have a sip for myself :) I also enjoy the cap design a lot. Every time I open the bottle I have a good moment.
