Eri Tosaka has won a major global title for the fourth year in a row, and she did it in dramatic fashion.

The showdown for gold in women's 48kg freestyle wrestling was a matchup of Tosaka, the division's three-time reigning world champion, and Azerbaijan's Mariya Stadnik, the current world No. 1. Stadnik held a narrow 2-1 lead late in the match, but Tosaka managed to get her to the mat and score a two-point takedown with about four seconds left on the clock. It gave Tosaka a 3-2 victory and her first Olympic gold medal.

I watched this one, that was a great performance. Here, medal expectations are lower than in China and the US. So, people are thrilled to see come-from-behind victories like this one and the win in Women's badminton couples final.

Eventually Athletes that receive a gold medal would be really recognized and appreciate by the government.
