How to watch TV in Japanese from abroad?

I live in France, but I suppose that in other countries the situation is pretty similar: if you want to watch Japanese TV, you have only one option - NHK World, which is included into most cable channel subscritions. The problem is that it is in English. The only possibility for me to watch Japanese television is to buy a pack of two channels JSTV 1 and JSTV 2. This will cost me 50€ a month ($55). I think it is extremely expensive. So I was wondering if there are any other ways to watch Japanese TV from abroad. Thanks for any ideas in advannce!

There are servers in China that stream NHK, TV Asahi, and other Japanese TV channels. But they keep disappearing or changing. Most recent Reddit posts are the best sources for them. I guess these are not legal.

what search terms would I use to find them?

I tried NHK Live Streaming, but Chinese phrases like ???? or ?????? might help. I don't know the consequences of using these, though. The sites might have malware, etc.

Yubi, you are right, these sites are probably best to be avoided. But it bothers me that the only legal way to watch TV in Japanese is to buy two channels for €50 per month :(
