“Insect Tsukemen,” the bug-filled ramen dish gaining popularity in Tokyo qz.com

Insects, which have long been a part of traditional meals in rural Japan, are now becoming popular among urban diners. Bugs are being served in all sorts of cocktails and desserts. There are even insect-eating clubs.

Now, as you can see in the video above, a restaurant in Tokyo is offering insect ramen, called “insect tsukemen.” Customers can have their noodles with a choice of soups made with either crickets, grasshoppers, or silkworm powder.

me too, I think I'll pass on insect ramen. I've never tried natto, so I guess I am not that adventurous.
