Wrapping Your Shoes Like Furoshiki otakumode.com

The Japanese tradition of furoshiki is an important one. These beautiful square clothes are used for any number of functions, but they’re probably most easily recognized as the fabric used for wrapping bento boxes. Japanese shoe designer Hashimoto Masaya decided to use this tradition for an entirely new purpose: incredible form-fitting and ankle-supporting shoes.

Furoshiki is a wonderful thing that has not disappeared with all the new stuff in packaging. Many people still use them for wrapping lunch boxes and bottles. In countryside, you can see more uses for them.
