I actually went to school (college) with someone who was hoping to land a job in Japan. We don't talk as much as we used to but I will have to share this with him. Last we talked was in November and he had been applying for different opportunities.

As easy as he makes it sound, it is still quite hard. I know so many people in Canada who want to go there and some have been trying to land a job for more than 3 years. I think it depends greatly on the needs of what you can offer... That and having a great personality.

I have met all sorts of people who found, or even created their jobs in Japan. One mainly needs the courage to ask for help, and sleep going when things are not very good. I myself came here for six months and have been working for more than ten years now.
