To hear photographer Shoichi Aoki describe it, what killed Tokyo’s famous Harajuku style was basically what happens when a glut of factories set up shop at the head of a river that feeds vital waterways.

So new fashion waves have finally killed off the harajuku style craze. I feel like this happens with every trend. Eventually it will get reinvented or replaced. I know many people around the world loved this style so I am sure it will be missed. I always loved the harajuku outfits that tied in with gaming and anime.
