Legendary Japanese animation director Hayao Miyazaki has come out of retirement from making feature-length films.

Miyazaki's production base, Studio Ghibli, said on Friday that he had begun working on a new project.

The studio says he found a theme worth basing a film on and that, considering his age, the work will be his last.

There was a TV program on how he started on this movie; at first he was just helping a young team to build a fully CG anime. He ended up taking the project as a movie, after teaching the team a real lot of things. Looking forward to the movie!

I am really excited to seeing more of his work! That's true, Miyazaki is quite old now, but I believe that his talent has the power to impress us!
